- Chairman: Jim Theaker
Jim cofounded Roltek International together with his father 40 years ago. The business has flourished, leaving him time to serve on the Careforce Board.
- Treasurer: Aaron Marr
Aaron is a Chartered Accountant with seven years experience as a manager at Mintz & Partners LLP (now Deloitte & Touche LLP), where he audited several charitable organizations. He has now been with Metro Inc. for the past six years (Controller). Aaron and his wife, Tara, went to Burkina Faso with Careforce in 2004, and have since been committed to the work of Careforce.
- Secretary: Karen Toews
Karen is a project manager in the natural gas industry who also has a fascination with great food. She recently kicked things up a notch by starting a second career moonlighting in a specialty cheese shop. She has led teams to the Lighthouse School project in the Dominican Republic seven times and also been to the Village of Hope in Burkina Faso. She is happily and newly married to Patrick.
- Dr. Bernie Potvin (Ex-Chair of the Board and now an advisor to Careforce International)
Bernie is Associate Professor of Education and Program Chair, Education at Ambrose University College in Calgary, Alberta. He holds Adjunct Professor posts in the Graduate Division of Educational Research, University of Calgary, and at Carey Theological College Vancouver. He has worked around the world in education, as a teacher, curriculum and teacher developer, youth worker and educational program designer and implementer-in Zambia, Indonesia, Guatemala, England, Kenya, the Dominican Republic, and South Africa. Bernie served as Chair of the Board, Careforce International (2006-2009) and is currently Chair of Daystar Education Society, Canada.
- Wayne Cheng
Wayne is the owner and operator in a property management company. He's been involved with Careforce since 2004, when he traveled to Burkina Faso. Wayne is married with two young children.
- Darryl Styres
Darryl is currently the Supervisor for Six Nations Grand River Correctional Services, Six Nations First Nation, Ontario. In the past he has served on the boards for My People International, Calgary, AB, Working for Work, Kitchener, ON and CCUG, Kitchener, ON. He is married to Sandra and they have two sons, Matthew and Michael.

- Brian Evans
Brian is the Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer at Canada Lands Company CLC Limited. Brian has over 30 years experience in the field of real estate financial management. Brian has been married for 27 years to Anne, they have three adult children. Their family attends Chartwell Clarkson Baptist Church.
- Jim Carrie
Jim is the VP for International Programs for Christian Children's Fund of Canada. From 2003 until 2010 Jim served as the Executive and Missions Pastor with Chartwell Baptist Church, a multi-site church of five congregations in Oakville and Mississauga. From 1978 to 2003 Jim worked in various capacities with World Vision, including serving as their East Africa Regional Director, Rwanda Interim Director and, in the Canadian office, as the Vice President for Planning and Operations and the VP for International Programs. Through this experience Jim has traveled extensively to 45 nations. He also has gained significant knowledge and experience in the fields of international development and relief, rooted in a strong Christian conviction of justice and love. Jim’s married to Dorothy and they have two adult daughters.
